Marcos Cartagena de Furundarena (Alicante, 1983) graduated in Business Sciences and has a technical diploma in Administration and Finance. In 2010 he moved to Japan and enrolled in the prestigious Doshisha University of Kyoto, where he studied the Bekka Program, focused on an intensive learning of Japanese and the economy of East Asia.
He was behind the creation of the SpainPadel Project, which introduced paddle in Japan. He is the CEO and co-founder of the innovative travel agency Discovering Japan, which aims to show the country in a different and authentic way. He is an expert of Japanese culture, lecturer and creator of the "Hanasaki system", based on all the lessons he learned in more than sixteen years of connection with Japan.
